Solar Radiation Monthly Summaries

Hourly Solar Radiation and Meteorological Data is historical data that is archived at the National Climatic Data Center (NCDC). These historical publications are archived on microfiche. These data are also available as digital data set DSI-9736 (C00086). Unedited Solar Radiation Data (C00068) are archived on microfiche and digital file from January 1981 to the present. All of these items are available for purchase from the NCDC.

    • 2015-04-22T00:00:00 - NOAA created the National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) by merging NOAA's National Climatic Data Center (NCDC), National Geophysical Data Center (NGDC), and National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC), including the National Coastal Data Development Center (NCDDC), per the Consolidated and Further Continuing Appropriations Act, 2015, Public Law 113-235. NCEI launched publicly on April 22, 2015.
