Environmental Information Summaries
Environmental Information Summaries is a series of publications originally produced by the National Climatic Data Center (now National Centers for Environmental Information). The series is intended to help customers understand and use specific types of climatic data housed in the archive. Collectively these are called Environmental Information Summaries. Each publication varies in topic and complexity and may describe a specific dataset or a collection of datasets that together can be used for specific applications.
