Supplemental Information | This dataset is a comprehensive collection of data from nearly a decade of sampling within Weeks Bay, Alabama. Station locations and parameters of interest varied during the time period - not every parameter was measured at every station during every sampling event. Descriptive text for this metadata record came primarily from a technical report on similar cruises that occurred in Mobile Bay between July 1993 and August 1995. Water samples were obtained from 23-foot outboard boats operated by the Dauphin Island Sea Lab. PI: Jonathan R. Pennock and John Lehrter |
Purpose | To examine the effects of river discharge, suspended sediment dynamics, and nutrient inputs on phytoplankton production in the Weeks Bay ecosystem. |
