abstract: This dataset includes navigational, physical and profile data collected aboard the R/V Pelican during cruise PE15-14 in the Gulf of Mexico from 2014-11-10 to 2014-11-12. These data include CONDUCTIVITY, LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, SALINITY, WATER TEMPERATURE, course over ground and speed over ground. The instruments used to collect these data include CTD and GPS. These data were collected by Keith Kurrus of Evans-Hamilton, Inc, and by Louisiana Universities Marine Consortium as part of Mooring Retrieval. The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program. A suite of navigation products produced by the Rolling Deck to Repository program is included in this accession, which include one high resolution, one 1 minute resolution, and one low resolution coordinate file. R2R provides a processed version of the CTD data.
