Current and water properties data were collected using STD casts in the Puget Sound from NOAA Ship McARTHUR. The data were collected from 08 January 1973 to 14 February 1973. Data were submitted by the Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory.

Note: Metadata for this accession were extracted from a legacy database maintained by the U.S. National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC). The design of the database did not exactly reflect the FGDC Content Standard for Digital Geospatial Metadata (CSDGM).

NCEI launched publicly on April 22, 2015.
