Temperature, pressure, and other data were collected from FIXED PLATFORMS in the North Atlantic Ocean. Data were collected by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute (WHOI) buoys from 29 April 1975 to 26 January 1976. Links to digital data are not available at this time. An analog file is available.

Note: Metadata for this accession were extracted from a legacy database maintained by the U.S. National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC). The design of the database did not exactly reflect the FGDC Content Standard for Digital Geospatial Metadata (CSDGM).
