Note: The data in this accession are the subject of some confusion, and it is possible that this accession number was also used to identify BT data from the Secretaria de Marina, Servicio de Hidrografia Naval, Argentina from the Koyoshi Maru from 01/05/77 to 01/05/77, Australian MBT data from the South Pacific from 1960 through 1968, UBT data collected by the Korean Navy off the coast of Korea from 1961 to 1977, UBT data collected by Lamont Doherty Geological Observatory in the Southern pacific Ocean from 1976-1978, XBT data supplied by the French Navy from the North Atlantic Ocean from 10/02/52 to 03/16/55 from the FNOC, standard level XBT/MBT data collected by Japan in Antarctic coastal waters from 1961 through 1966, British UBT data for 1955 through 1973 supplied by Paul Fielding of the Hydrographic Department, Ministry of Defense, Britain, via field numerical Oceanographic Center (FNOC), station data collected by the Norwegian Navy in the vicinity of [Ocean Weather] Station Mike from 1948 to 1957, and possibly other data.
