Title: Temperature, salinity, oxygen, and other data parameters collected by CTD and XBT from R/V PELICAN (cruise PE15-28) in the northern Gulf of Mexico from 2015-06-24 to 2015-07-01 (NCEI Accession 0239876)
Abstract: This dataset contains CTD casts and expendable bathythermograph (XBT) measurements taken in the northern Gulf of Mexico as part of a larger acoustic measurement expedition. The data were collected at ten sites during R/V Pelican cruise PE15-28, 2015-06-24 - 2015-07-01. XBT temperature profiles, collected with a Lockheed Martin Sippican MK21 with a hand-held launcher. A Sea-Bird SBE 911 CTD with processing software was used to collect temperature, salinity, conductivity, dissolved oxygen (raw measurements), and fluorescence/chlorophyll data. Data were converted from HEX to ASCII files and averaged 24 Hz data over 1 meter intervals. All raw and converted files are included.
