This dataset contains sound velocity profiles collected in the Atlantic Ocean in the vicinity of the approaches to Newport, RI during hydrographic surveys by small boats operated by the OSI. Profiles were collected at approximately 2 hour intervals for sound speed profilers and at approximately 20 minutes for moving vessel profilers during data collection. Data are in netcdf format. |
