| Abstract: | The Peoples Republic of China, Institute of Marine Scientific and Technological Information provided NODC with historical oceanographic data. Two original tapes containing this historical data have now been converted to current NODC data storage system. Documentation includes station names, measured parameters, and the record format. One data set consists of coastal station wave data from about 1960 through 1976. 10 stations were sampled along the Chinese coastal waters. The second data set consists of coastal temperature and salinity data from January 1959 to 1976. 14 stations were sampled along the Chinese coastal waters. |
