Data from the ten ARGOS satellite-tracked drifters deployed during the1990
Flux experiment are provided below. The drifters were of the holey sock
design. Five were drouged to follow water at a depth of 15 meters indicated
by an S. The five drouged to follow water at 40 meters are indicated by a
D.

Data listed is: drifter identification number, location, location class,
calendar date and time of data collection, calendar date and time of
location and sea surface temperature.

Data is in tab delimited columns. A 9999.0 in the latitude field indicates
the drifter was out of the water and subsequently redeployed. Locations are
listed as latitude North, longitude West in decimal degrees. Location class
is a measure of location accuracy. Date and time are given in calendar days
and GMT. Temperature is given in degrees C.

Deployment 2 
At the end of this deployment the remaining drifters were not picked up.
The sampling frequency beginning on July 22, 1990 (day 203), was changed to
every three days.
