Hello Jeomshik Hwang,

I am Mia Infante, the data content manager that has been assigned to
your NCEI-S2N/SIP/85FA6U package.
I am reaching out to clarify the date ranges you wrote in the package
and the dates that appear in your excel sheet. In the package you wrote
down 27-06-2004 through 15-03-2007. In table 2 of the excel the dates
range from 11-1993 to 9-2010. I want to confirm with you which date
range is the correct one.

If I need to change the dates to the 1993-2010 range, I would need to
update the date range in the title to reflect the correct dates as
well as in the abstract.

Thank you,

Mia Infante

Dear Mia Infante,

Thank you very much for the email. This is Minkyoung Kim (NCEI-S2N/SIP/85FA6U
package).

1. Time range
As you said, in the package I wrote down 27-06-2004 through 15-03-2007 based on
Table S1, sinking particle data which I considered as 1) our main data 2)
 sampling timing is important.
Table 2 of the excel the dates range from 11-1993 to 9-2010 is surface
sediment data (which I thought the sampling time is less important than
sinking particle).
So, If we need to make the time range clear, I would suggest to change the
title from "Title: Total sinking particle flux and content, Nd content,
Nd and Sr isotopic composition, and radiocarbon content from sinking particle
(from 2004 to 2007), and sediment samples collected in NW Atlantic." to
"Title: Total sinking particle flux and content, Nd content, Nd and Sr isotopic
composition, and radiocarbon content from sinking particle (from 2004 to 2007),
and sediment samples (from 1993 to 2010) collected in NW Atlantic."

2. Data check

Here is one question from my side.. I am not sure whether this is the same data
of reference ID F4TB01, https://accession.nodc.noaa.gov/0222212 (attached below
 in blue) or not.

During the process, I changed data (added 5 more data in Table S2): copied from
this 85FA6U package and resubmitted F4TB01 and this one already assigned an NCEI
Accession Number 0222212 after reviewing. So, if you are looking at 85FA6U package
(my previous dataset) we may not have to.,? :)

Thank you for the help and please let me know if you need further information!

Best wishes,

Minkyoung

Hello,

Thank you for the information on the time range. I will update the title,
abstract and dates on the package.

To answer your question, I am looking at the data from the resubmitted F4TB01
package with the accession number 0222212. There was no accession number
assigned to your 85FA6U package as it was rejected before any accession request
was made.

If you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to ask.

Thank you,

Mia Infante
