Source: Luke Callcut of the Royal Australian Navy informed NODC that the files
were available on RAN Thredds server.

Actions: The files were downloaded from the Thredds server into the 0-data
directory. The directory and files for cruise "HI461FAN_H" were removed from
0-data, after they were found to be exact duplicates of data in cruise
"HI461LEE_H".

Files:
about/
This directory contains files created by NODC staff, email correspondence,
and other 'negotiable' information between NODC staff and the data provider.

0104412_lonlat.txt - Contains sample locations for these data. Each row
contains the geographical position where these data were
collected (longitude in the left column and latitude in
the right column, both in degrees). NODC may have
corrected geographic positions that seemed to be in error
when generating this file. However, NODC did not change
the original data files under the directory data/0-data/.

0104412_map.jpg - Sample location map for these data.

0-email.txt - E-mail from personnel notifying NODC that their data have been
made available for the Archive.

data/0-data/
This directory contains the data files as submitted to NODC.

The submitter provided the following information in regards to the cruise id
suffixes "_H" and "_M":
"The suffix for each cruise represents the method of CTD collection. _H
stands for HS-CTD, which is a hand-winched CTD dropped off our hydrographic
ships, and _M stands for MVP200, which is used by our hydrographic and SML
 ships."

The collection year for
/data/0-data/HI399MEL_H/20001101T075303Z_H_HI399MEL_H.nc should be 2004, and
not 2000, as per information provided by the submitter.
