By: Thomas Ryan, National Oceanographic Data Center

Source: These data were submitted by Laura Lorenzoni of the University of South Florida,
via ftp with metadata attached to the submission e-mail. These data are part of
the Carbon Retention in a Colored Ocean (CARAICO) time-series project.

Actions: The data were submitted as individual files to the incoming NODC ftp directory
and were copied to the data/0-data directory.

Files:

about/
This directory contains files gnerated by NODC with ancillary information
about the data submission.

0-email.txt - E-mail correspondence between the data provider and the NODC
identifying the data submission for archive.

0107209_lonlat.txt - Contains sample locations for these data. Each row
contains the geographical position where these data were
collected (longitude in the left column and latitude in
the right column, both in degrees). NODC may have
corrected geographic positions that seemed to be in error
when generating this file. However, NODC did not change
the original data files under the directory data/0-data/.

0107209_map.jpg - Sample location map for these data.

0107209_EDDF.pdf - Copy of the data producer's Electronic Data
Documentation Form (EDDF) file, also available as
                   data/0-data/[originalFileName], created by NODC to
ensure that this descriptive metadata file has a standard
name and is in a standard directory.

data/0-data
This directory contains the original data and information files as submitted
to NODC by the originator. Data are space delimitted in ASCII *.txt files.
Metadata describing this submission is contained in the .pdf file.
