Source: Leticia Barbero, NOAA/Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory
(AOML), submitted these data to NODC via email on April 29, 2014.

Action(s): The original data files were uncompressed and transferred to the
directory of data/0-data/. NODC personnel extracted the longitude and
latitude data, and plotted a sampling station map. Both the generated
longitude latitude file and the sampling station map were saved in the
directory of about/. NODC personnel also converted the .xls file to
.csv, and saved them in the data/1-data/ directory.

Files:

about/
This directory contains files created by NODC staff, and email correspondence
	with the data producer.

0-email.txt - Email from Leticia Barbero, AOML, notifying NODC of the data
	submission.

1-email.txt - Email from Leticia Barbero, AOML, requesting to replace the
originally submitted data files with the attached new files.

2-email.txt - Email from Leticia Barbero, AOML, requesting to update the below
	two files: GOMECC2_station_data_version3.1.xlsx, and
	SubmissionForm_OADS_V0.25_GOMECC2stations.xlsx.

0117971_lonlat.txt - Contains sample locations for these data. Each row contains
the geographical position where these data were collected (longitude in
the left column and latitude in the right column, both in degrees). NODC
may have corrected geographic positions that seemed to be in error when
generating this file. However, NODC did not change the original data files
	under the directory data/0-data/.

0117971_map.jpg - Sample location map generated from listing of longitude and
	latitude coordinates in 0117971_lonlat.txt.

data/0-data/
This directory contains the data files as submitted to NODC.

data/1-data/
This directory contains data and metadata files that were converted by NODC from
their originally submitted format to an archival format.

*.csv - Comma-separated-value (CSV) files that NODC converted from the
        Microsoft Excel file in /0-data.
