Sheri

Excellent ... attached is my final (for now ;) ) edits to the ISO metadata record. Please go ahead and publish.

I noticed the S2N web application went live for submitting data so thought there might be some similar approach for submitting edits. Email is fine and, rarely, would we be in a situation where anything is so mission critical that we couldn't wait until you or Chris were able to respond.

Regarding new datasets, should I still just email you or go with S2N?

cheers
josh

    Hi Josh!
That is fine - updates can be requested any time, re our version tracking nothing is lost.

We have various interfaces for data submitters in work or in development, but in this instance I don't know that utilizing any of them
would not simply add another layer to getting your requested changes done, in that you have a working relationship with Chris and myself.

However, I will also speak to Don Collins, the head of our Archive Management System team, as I want to make sure you always have
someone to speak to directly at need - in any case Don is experienced in dealing with imagery and video archival, and I will probably be speaking to
him about your data collection next week (many are in Ashville, NC this week for a management "summit"). He is also active in NOAA's metadata efforts
     - trained me in the FGDC standard, actually. Please keep him in mind should Chris or myself be unavailable
    as a contact here.

Have a great weekend! - more soon,
    Sheri

That's the main reason for the update.
