This folder contains data collected during the 1st mooring recovery cruise GISR-04 held 06-14 July 2013 aboard the R/V Pelican
(Cruise designator 14PE02). The moorings were deployed on cruise GISR-01 in July 2012. The PI on the cruise was Dr. Steven
DiMarco, Department of Oceanography at Texas A&M University.

These data will be transmitted to the Gulf of Mexico Research Initiative Information and Data Cooperative (GRIIDC) and
ultimately archived at the National Ocean and Atmospheric Administration's National Ocean Data Center (NOAA/NODC).

The data have been split into three separate submissions to GRIIDC for currents, hydrography and underway data.

1) GISR_G04_MOORINGS: Moored time series data (currents, temperature and salinity) recovered on GISR Cruise G04.

	GISR_G04_MOORINGS: ADCP, single-point currents (RCM4,S4), StarOdi temperature, SBE16 T&S, and Microcat T&S data.
GISR_G04_Instrument_Summary.txt.csv: Documentation on mooring locations and instrument positions.
		GISR_G04_M1: Mooring 1:
		GISR_G04_M1: Mooring 2:
		GISR_G04_M1: Mooring 3:
		GISR_G04_M1: Mooring 4:
		GISR_G04_M1: Mooring 5:
		GISR_G04_M1: Mooring 6:

2) GISR_G04_HYDROGRAPHY - CTD data from SeaBird SBE-9 Rosette system
GISR_G04_ACTUAL.txt - Text file summarizing the CTD casts (date-time, lat-lon, sequence-file name) of CTD casts.
GISR_G04_CTD: (station_name).nc - Twenty six files containing downcast CTD profiles in netCDF following NODC NetCDF Templates

3) GISR_G04_UNDERWAY: Continuous data from the Multiple Instrument Data Acquisition System (MIDAS)
	GISR_G04_SCS: MIDAS data.
See page 14 of the Pelican Cruise Manual http://www.lumcon.edu/pelican/CruisePrep/printablecruisemanual.pdf
Measured meteorological data includes air temperature, atmospheric pressure, winds, and relative humidity.
Measured oceanographic data includes near-surface temperature, salinity, chlorophyll fluorescence, and % transmisson.

GISR_G04_ADCP: Shipboard Acoustic Doppler Current Profiles (ADCP) from 75Khz and 300Khz profilers.
Processed ADCP data are 5-minute short-term averages (STA) and 15-minute long-term averages (LTA).
GISR_G01_ADCP_75Khz - STA and LTA data in netCDF and LTA plots for 75Khz ADCP
GISR_G01_ADCP_300Khz - STA and LTA data in netCDF and LTA plots for 300Khz ADCP
Note: netCDF file are encoded using "NODC_NetCDF_TrajectoryProfile_Orthogonal_Template_v1.0"
