Hello Mitch,

Attached are the Florida reef fish census data and metadata for years
1979-1998. There are 20 metadata records, where one might be
sufficient. Your decision. Any metadata record will hopefully contain
all the information you need to accession the data, or point you to
contacts.

ftp.nodc.noaa.gov/pub/outgoing/harrywork/fishcensus

     /fishcensus

/79-98all directory containing .dbf and GIS shapefiles
covering all 20 years

/shape directory containing 20 directories, one for each
year, each containing .dbf and GIS shapefiles for the respective year.

            1979-98_Site-bottom_Species_Matrix5_dbf.doc - file
describes the format of the .dbf spreadsheets in each yearly file.
1979-98_Site-bottom_Species_Matrix5_dbf.htm is the same.

79-98_Species.jpg image of the site matrix.

             Shapefiledbfformat.xls shape file dbf format

Send me the NODC Accession Number so I can add it to CoRIS.

Harry

PS When you have digested this, I have at least one more data set for
you.
