Hi everyone,

The Bureau's 2016 XBT SOOP dataset is now finalised and available from our anonymous ftp site in Meds-Ascii and MQuest-netcdf formats.

These data files can be found here:

ftp://ftp.bom.gov.au/anon/home/cawcr/perm/JAFOOS/BOM2016.MA.gz

ftp://ftp.bom.gov.au/anon/home/cawcr/perm/JAFOOS/BOM2016SOOP_tar.gz

The dataset consists of data from three of our usual four XBT SOOP lines: IX01, PX11+IX22 and PX02.

IX12 was not occupied by the Bureau during 2016.

Please let me know if you have any problems with – or accessing, the database.

Best regards,

Lisa
