This data package includes data from GRIIDC UDI R1.x132.134:0046. It contains conductivity, temperature, and depth (CTD) data from casts performed in the northern Gulf of Mexico during R/V Atlantis cruise (AT18-02) from November 26 to December 2, 2010. The Principal Investigator is Dr. Samantha B. Joye from Deapartment of marine Sciences at University of Georgia (UGA).

The cruise departed from Galveston, TX and ended in Gulfport, MS (November 7 to December 2, 2010).

The purpose of this cruise was to determine the hydrography in the area of the Deepwater Horizon blowout.

This data package contains two sub-directory within the main directory "AT18-02/Data". 1) AT18-02_Documentation 2) AT18-02_CTD_Data

1) AT18-02/Data/AT18-02_Documentation: It contains the following file:
<GoMRIRFPnumber.GoMRIProjectID-GoMRItaskID-datastenumber>-metadata.xml - GRIIDC Standard ISO 19115-2 Metadata

2) AT18-02/Data/CTD_Data: It contains the following file:
AT18-02_CTD.csv - This data file includes location coordinates (latitudes, longitudes), depth, pressure, altitude, temperature, conductivity, salinity, density, oxygen, transmission, fluorescence, turbidity, colored dissolved organic matter fluorescence, and sound velocity data.

This dataset is remotely hosted at Biological and Chemical Oceanography Data Management Office (BCO-DMO) https://www.bco-dmo.org/dataset-deployment/455451/data

GRIIDC Note: All the blank elements in the metadata file AT18-02_metadata.xml will be completed by NCEI.
