Hi everyone,

The Bureau's QC'd XBT dataset for 2017 is now available in meds-ascii and
netcdf formats:

ftp://ftp.bom.gov.au/anon/home/cawcr/perm/JAFOOS/BOM2017.MA.gz
ftp://ftp.bom.gov.au/anon/home/cawcr/perm/JAFOOS/BOM2017_tar.gz

The dataset again consists of data from three of our usual four XBT SOOP lines:
IX01, PX11+IX22 and PX02.

IX12 was not occupied by the Bureau during 2017, due to a continued lack of
regular shipping.

Please let me know if you have any problems with - or accessing, the
database.

Regards,
Lisa
