Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) data

Instrument: Broadband 614.4 kHz, 4 beams
Period of acquisition: 13th June 2015 at 01h34m22sec to 17th June at 22h23m57s
Time (sampling) interval = 3.65 sec
Bin size = 0.5 m
ADCP instrument was deployed 30 m above the seabed, suspended from a fixed vessel (RV Strickland).
RV Strickland was moored (using 4 anchors) above the central submarine channel downstream of the Squamish delta (see Fig. 2 in Hage et al., accepted, GRL).

ADCP location:
Latitude: 49.679743 (decimal degrees)
Longitude: -123.183061 (decimal degrees)

ADCP variables (2 .txt files):

Beamave_EA.txt = Echo intensity averaged between 4 ADCP beams in backscatter counts.
File dimension: (75, 105383), with 75 = number of vertical bins; 105383= number of time inetrvals.
Time (sampling) interval = 3.65 sec
Bin size = 0.5 m (75 bins in total, from ~35 m above the seabed to the seabed)
Echo intensity was used to derive the concentration of suspended sediment from 30 m to 60 m water depth, using an acoustic inversion method and physcial samples for calibration
(see Fig. 3 in Hage et al., accepted, GRL).

vmag = magnitude of velocity in m/s.
File dimension: (75, 105383), with 75 = number of vertical bins; 105383= number of time inetrvals.
Time (sampling) interval = 3.65 sec
Bin size = 0.5 m (74 bins in total, from ~35 m above the seabed to the seabed)
Velocity magnitude was used to obtain the velocity of the turbidity current measured on 15th June 2015
(see Fig. 3G in Hage et al., accepted, GRL).
