On behalf of the Aerial Survey of Arctic Marine Mammals project, I would like to submit our 2017 data for NCEI Accession 0039614 (BWASP Aerial Survey data). These updates include the most up-to-date versions of the database through 2017, metadata, updated accession detail, historical data review, and data attribute Excel workbook. Files to be transferred to NCEI via "2017_NCEI_Transfer" folder on Google Drive:

1. OAS_AccessionDetail_0039614_2017.docx
2. NBII_classic.xsl - for metadata format display  
3. Data Attributes_1979-2017.xlsx - MS Excel workbook provides a way to identify what years were associated with the collection of a particular piece of data.
4. ASAMM_Metadata_2017.xml - Contains the metadata associated with the MS Access database files Aerial_Master_1979_2011_v3_30.MDB, Aerial_Master_2012_2014_v0_23.accdb, and Aerial_Master_2015_2017_v16.mdb.
5. AerialMaster_HistoricalDataReview_20181120.docx - MS Word doc focusing on background information to how the historical data was reviewed for QA/QC with additions pertaining to more recent years (2012-2017).
6. Aerial_Master_2015_2017_v16.mdb
7. Aerial_Master_2015_2017_v16_VersionHistory.pdf - Provides a full history of revisions made to the 2015-2017 Aerial Master Database.
8. Aerial_Master_2012_2014_v0_23.accdb - The most recent version of aerial survey data from 2012-2014; anything before v0_23 should be considered outdated and should not be used.
9. Aerial_Master_2012_2014_v0_23_VersionHistory.pdf - Provides a full history of updates made to the 2012-2014 Aerial Master Database.
10. Aerial_Master_1979_2011_v3_30.MDB - The most recent version of aerial survey data from 1979-2011; anything before v3_30 should be considered outdated and should not be used.
11. Aerial_Master_1979_2011_v3_30_VersionHistory.pdf - Provides a full history of updates made to the 1979-2011 Aerial Master Database.
