Hello Tom,

Attached are 2 zip files containing data from sound velocity casts
acquired by Navigation Response Team 4 (NRT-4) during the 2008 survey
season.

1.  NRT4_SVD_2008.zip contains 16 SVD files
2.  NRT4_CTD_2008.zip contains 8 CTD files

Total: 24 files

File 1 contains individual cast files acquired by an Odom Digibar Pro
profiler, serial number 98150.
Each of these cast files contains header information followed by depth
and sound velocity obtained directly from the Digibar Pro.

File 2 contains individual cast files acquired by a Sea-Bird
Electronics. SBE 19Plus SEACAT profiler, serial number 4674.
Each of these cast files contains header information followed by
Pressure, Temperature, and Salinity obtained down the water column.
Pressure and Temperature were obtained directly from the SEACAT.
Salinity was derived using Sea-Bird's software, SBEDataProcessing. All
three variables have been averaged into depth bins and then fitted to
1-decibar intervals by means of parabolic fitting.

All the filenames have format YYDDDHHMM.N4D or YYDDDHHMM.N4A where

YY = 2-digit year
DDD = day-of-year
HH = hour of day (UTC)
MM = minutes of the hour
N4 indicates NRT-4 in the Great Lakes
D indicates an SVD archive file.
A indicates a CTD archive file
