The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) has carried out oceanographic observations using research vessels and ocean data buoys for monitoring ocean variability which ranges from seasons to decades.
Recent results of these observations are posted on the website "Data of Oceanographic and Marine Meteorological Observation".
This CD-ROM is an update of the special issue (No.S1) published in 2001. A major update means the addition of new data by the research vessels by the end of 2008.
