Source: Underway data from the NOAA Ship MILLER FREEMAN sent by personnel of
the NOAA Office of Marine and Aviation Operations to NODC via FTP in
	file freeman_20100906-20100920.zip.

Actions: These data were unzipped under the directory data/0-data/ and the
Zip file was then removed from the accession. The MS Word file
"MF-10-05 Metadata.doc" was converted to a PDF/A file and the MS Excel
file "MF-10-05 MOA.xls" was converted to a CSV file. The two new files
were then moved to the data/1-data/ directory.

Files:
about/
This directory contains files generated by NODC with ancillary information
about the data submission.

0067860_lonlat.txt - Contains sample locations for these data. Each row
contains the geographical position where these data were
collected (longitude in the left column and latitude in
the right column, both in degrees). NODC may have
corrected geographic positions that seemed to be in error
when generating this file. However, NODC did not change
the original data files under the directory data/0-data/.

0067860_map.jpg - Sample location map for these data.

0-email.txt - E-mail from personnel aboard the NOAA ship notifying NODC
that they uploaded their data to the NODC FTP server.

NSSDAC_file_naming_and_format_v2.pdf - Description of the naming conventions
and formats for the data files under the
                                       directory data/0-data/.

data/0-data/
This directory contains the data files as submitted to NODC.

data/1-data/
This directory contains files that were converted by NODC from their
originally submitted format to a format that NODC can better preserve.
