Pat,
You are indeed right, all those files belong with that report about Fagatele Bay that Chuck sent you.
Glad he sent you a copy of my 2008 monitoring report, sorry I must have forgotten to. There are a good number of data files to go with that which I will now send you. Those with "data" in the title have the data separated by transects for each site and no data analysis in the file, while the ones that don't have "data" in the title have the average of those transects for each site but don't have it separated out by transect. Those files have the data analysis in them and the graphs that went into the report.
OK, I'll attach a few to this message, and then do the same with some more messages until I've sent all the files. They all go with the 2008 monitoring report Chuck sent you. I'm hoping my internet works for a while, yesterday afternoon I tried this and our internet connection refused to attach files. Unreliable connection. I will let you know once I've sent everything that you should have the complete set. Good to get this done. Doug

Aloha Doug,

Thanks again for your great support. (And thanks to Charles too!) I finally got around to sorting through your files and preparing them for the NODC archive.

Attached is a list of the files (files_set1.txt) you sent. In cross-referencing with the technical report, I assume all those MS Excel files correspond to "Fagatele_Squair_Edit_Aug_06.doc".

In this set, the "FBMS Benthic Data.xls" file includes data from 2004. Do you have at least the month but preferably the days when those surveys were made?

I've attached a draft metadata form to accompany the data (simple_metadata.txt). If you could skim it, that would be great, comments welcome. I pulled in the transect locations from an earlier Birkeland set. Are coordinates readily available for Sita Bay?

You mentioned Alison Green has the fish data for this set. My email address for her is over 10 years old (I'm cc'ing it to see if it works, maybe get lucky). Do you have a more recent email address for her if this one looks old? Thanks. I want to pull in the fish data for this study too if possible.

Finally, I also received "2008 TMP report.pdf", titled "Results of the Territorial Monitoring Program of American Samoa for 2008, Benthic Section". Would MS Excel files for those surveys be available for the archive?

Your help is highly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Pat
