Station	Description

CM0. Test station; bottles closed at salinity minimum. Bottle 11 lower lanyard failed, no sample.
CM10. Bottle 4 oxygen drawn twice; one sample only. MnCl- solution dispenser had bubble in pipette; Denis purged; second sample drawn from bottle 7 into flask 59; oxygen from bottles 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 possibly affected. Dark irradiance test, 7:12Z 6 May 98.
CM10. Altimeter 6.2m @ bottom. Possible 2 bottles (8 & 9) tripped @ 148 m. Bottle 8 leaks a little when spigot is depressed (pushed in).
CM11. Niskin 7 has mini-maximum in fluorometer. Bottle 12 leaking badly. Lanyard from bottle 11 stuck in top of bottle 12.
CM9. Bottle 2 at 275m is just above bottom nepheloid layer.
CM7.
CM3. Bottle 6 has slight leak. Not all the water wanted for PM/POC was available. DOC and irradiance taken this station.
CM3 & 4.
CM4.
CM5.
CM0.
CM1-4. Phytoplankton sample taken from bottom bottle 1.
CM2.
CM4 (CTD) or 5 (DCF). Bottle 6 leaking a little. 18.5m chl max; 14-15m mid-TSM. Two surface bottles; bottle 9 for USF DOC. MER on bottom (probably not)?
CM4. Bottom cap of bottle 6 dubious.
CM4. Bottle 6 leaked.
CM4.
CM5. Bottle order: bottle 12 first (bottom) bottle 10 last (surface)
CM0.
CM8. PAR sensor knocked off during deployment. chl max ~98m; 130 chl under.
CM10. Bottles 3 & 9 leaking a little. 88m Chl max.
CM10. Discarded oxygen in flasks 8, 53, 105; resampled oxygen at bottles 8, 9, 10.
CM9. Bottle 12 leaks moderately.
CM0.
CM8. Order: bottle 12 closed first (cold-->NOT surface, -->bottom), bottle 11 closed last (warm-->surface). Oxygen flask 29 has a crack on bottom.
CM8. Bottle 2 did not fire (did not close, so no water sample).
CM7.
CM6.
CM4.
CM3. Bottle 6 leaks a little top o-ring.
CM2.
CM2. GYRE may have stirred up mud.
CM0.
CM0.
CM5. Bottle 8 top slight leak.

Station	Description

CM3.
CM2. Bottle 6 leaking moderately.
CM8.
CM9. Bottle 11 is leaking.
CM9. Bottle 7 leaking a lot; took oxygen out of order.
Chl max @ 80m; bottle 9 not closed at planned 80m, so chl max was missed. Bottle 7 a little leaky bottom o-ring. Bottles 11 and 12 closed at surface.
CM9.
CM10.
CM9. Bottle 7 leaked.
CM9. PAR sensor knocked off.
CM8.
CM8. Bottle 7 still leaking; bottom o-ring replaced before cast.
CM7. Bottle 7 cracked and leaking bad.
CM3. Bottle 5 water not used. Taped Niskin 7 with duct tape prior to cast.
CM0.
CM2.
CM1.
CM3. 6 bottles fired; 9 came aboard closed. Bottle 12 was first to trip; 2 bottles tripped at bottom? 2 bottles tripped at surface? Bottles 6 & 7 @ surface. Bottle 8 at unknown depth, no samples drawn from it.
CM4.
CM3.

CM9.
CM9. Bottle 7 leaking from bottom. Oxygen flask 83 broke when shook, so no oxygen from bottle 12. Oxygen flask 872 has a broken cap; not used.
CM9.
CM9.
CM9.
CM5.
