Hi Melanie,

Happy New year! Hopefully this year will be somewhat less stressful than
the last. Have you recovered from all the WOCE database reconstruction and
DVD production yet?
I know I'm a glutton for punishment, but thought I should ask when we can
expect to see GTSPP1999? And should we also expect to see GTSPP2000 this
year as well? (I'd thought we were keeping up with things, even with the
"WOCE factor", but Ann reminded me that we had actually fallen behind.)

Anyway, the QC'd 2002 data from the BoM low density XBT network
(BOM2002.MA.gz) is now available. You can download the data from:

http://www.bom.gov.au/bmrc/ocean/JAFOOS/BOM_xbt.html

or anon-ftp directly to ftp.bom.gov.au. The data can be found in the
directory: /anon/home/bmrc/perm/JAFOOS/

Let me know if you have any problems accessing the data.

cheerio,
Lisa
