Version2.2- This version of NODC Accession 0087991 has the directory /0-data
and file "BOM2011.MA".

The file "BOM2011.MA.gz" was ftp'd from the Australian Bureau of Meteorology, and
uncompressed.  The file includes 2769 XBT profiles, which include numerous changes,
and has been standardized between the Australian Bureau of Meteorology and CSIRO 
since the first submission on April 2012.  It was suggested to delete the entire 
set of data received on 11 April, 2012 and replace the file with the new submission 
on the 14 August, 2012.  Refer to file, 2-email.txt for further details.

This directory contains files generated by NODC with ancillary information
about the data submission.

AAAAAAA_lonlat.txt - Station locations for these data.  Each row contains the
                     geographical position for a station (longitude in the left
                     column and latitude in the right column, both in degrees).
                     AAAAAAA is the NODC Accession number for these data.

AAAAAAA_map.jpg - Station location map for these data.

0-email.txt - E-mail from ABOM notifying NODC that the replacement file, which contains 
              XBT data collected during 2011, are ready to be downloaded and archived.

1-email.txt - E-mail from NODC notifying ABOM that the replacement XBT file
              will replace the previous submission.

2-email.txt - E-mail from ABOM suggesting the entire set of data received on
              11 April, 2012 be deleted from the GTSPP CMD, and replaced 
              with the data submitted on the 14 August, 2012.

 
MEDS_data_format.txt - Description of the Exchange format used for GTSPP data
                       file exchanges.

BOM2011_codes.txt -  Definitions of codes used in each data file.  Also,
                              includes count (number of times that a code is used in
                              a data file), field (field names used in the MEDS data
                              file format), code table (names of code tables used in
                              NODC's database for the Global Temperature-Salinity
                              Profile Program), and value (the codes that are used
                              in data file).

BOM2011_sum.txt -    Summary of statistics for each data file.  Includes
                            geographical bounding box of data, number of stations,
                            counts of stations by data and profile types, number of
                            profiles, number of profiles that are neither salinity
                            or temperature profiles, and counts of profiles by type.
