Sid,
Thanks for the NMFS groundfish survey data. I counted 7,041 XBT, 707
CTD and 2,556 MBT (microBT) casts dating from August 1976 - March 1998.
This is a significant data set from NMFS.

The Accession Number is 9800168.

Mitch,
I copied the two main files - PROFILE.LST and EVENT.LST from the CD to
/usr/nodc/DATAIN/9800168. I edited PROFILE.LST to insert header labels,
as suggested by Sid. I also created a file REGION, which gives the
region codes used in file EVENT.LST. NMFS vessel codes are in "ADP Code
Book", a paper report forwarded by Sid. I will forward a cover memo
from Sid along with the CD and five paper reports to you.
