Doug,

Just to let you know that I've placed in the regular mail this
AM, a package containing two floppy diskettes and a transmittal.
The diskettes contain water quality data (water temps, salinity, ph,
nitrates, phospates, chlorophylls, phaeopigments and some meteorology),
roughly weekly data taken at Western Washington Univ./Shannon Pt. Marine
Center over the past eight years. SPMC is located north of Whidbey Island
(Puget Sound location). The diskettes have the data in MS
Access 97 database and methods documentation files in MS Word. Sent the
stuff priority mail So it should be there by next week.
Also, FYI, am preparing a sample of the Olympic College water quality
data to send for your evaluation. This is the stuff thats only available
on paper copy, but is unique in that there's very little data for the area
(Sinclair Inlet, adjacent to the Bremerton Naval shipyards). My ultimate
plans (with local travel approval) are to visit Olympic College, borrow
all eight years records, copy them and at least maintain the paper copies
here for local requests, and if we have interest and resource to digitize
these data, so much the better.
Anyway, the Shannon Pt. stuffs on its way ..............

                Happy Holidays to you guys!

                                Sid
