Research Experience
Over Thirty two years of
experience in conducting and guiding researches on several aspects of Geophysical
modelling (Geodynamical/geomagnetic/Hydrogeological) especially those related
to thermal and mechanical evolution of continental and oceanic lithosphere,
hydromagnetic waves in the earth's liquid core and nonlinear geophysical
phenomena. Management of R&D work of CSIR Centre for Mathematical Modelling
and Computer Simulation (C-MMACS) since April 1996. Guiding researches
leading to Ph.D. degree. Visited Canada, USA, France, Germany and USSR
for conducting researches and scientific discussions/lectures. Participated
in confidential work related to CSIR JRF examination. Participated in planning
to the new CSIR center for mathematical modelling and computer simulation.
