These atlases contain climatological summaries for the following parameters: wind speed and direction, significant wave height, wave direction, wave slope, modal wave period, and directionality of waves. Monthly and annual data are presented in the form of isopleth analysis, contingency tables, and duration-interval tables. The Spectral Ocean Wave Model (SOWM) is a deep water model that produced estimates of wave conditions from a wind field. The data in this atlas are not from observations but produced from the SOWM model. The atlas is hardcover and is approximately 15 by 10 inches in dimension. Three volumes were produced.
