Details/Specifics of Change: We have implemented Metop B/C ASCAT Ocean Surface Winds and Daily Ice in the NCCF (NESDIS Common Cloud Framework) User Acceptance Testing (UAT) environment. The products are now available on PDA I&T and short names are listed below. We plan to transition the above product generation into the NCCF Production (PROD) environment by October 11th, replacing the operational Metop-B ASCAT Ocean Surface Winds and Daily Ice products with the corresponding NCCF products.

Note: Current Metop-B ASCAT Ocean Surface Winds and Daily Ice products will be turned off on January 11th , 2023 and replaced with the NCCF Metop-B ASCAT Ocean Surface Winds and Daily Ice. Both versions will be distributed on the PDA from October 11, 2022 through January 11, 2023. The NCCF Metop-B/C ASCAT Ocean Surface Winds and Daily Ice products will be operationally distributed on the PDA for the first time starting on January 11, 2023.

(More Attention: The above products are available in NetCDF format and strongly suggest using the NetCDF products instead of binary products)
