SYNOPSIS... January was another abnormally dry month as La Nina conditions continue. Not since the end of the Monsoon season (September), have we had much significant precipitation across the entire area. As of February 6, the majority of our area is now in extreme to exceptional drought conditions. Much of Sierra County of New Mexico is a little better off, remaining in severe drought status.
