Channell, 2000, Pliocene-Pleistocene ice rafting history and cyclicity in the Nordic Seas during the last 3.5 Myr, Paleoceanography 15, No. 6, 709-721, December 2000. FUNDING SOURCE: Norwegian Research Council GEOGRAPHIC REGION: North Atlantic and Nordic Seas PERIOD OF RECORD: 3.5 MMYrBP - Present. LIST OF FILES: Readme.Jansen2000.txt (this file), 907-ird-depth.txt, 907-ird-tuned-agescale.txt (tab-delimited ASCII format). DESCRIPTION: The two files include IRD data and agemodel which appears in the paper: Jansen et al., Pliocene-Pleistocene ice rafting history and cyclicity in the Nordic Seas during the last 3.5 Myr, Paleoceanography 15, 709-721, 2000. ODP Site 907 was drilled during Leg 162 in 1995 at: 69o14.99´N 12o41,89´W in 1800 m water depth. File 907-ird-depth.txt contains the IRD per gram data vs. depth mbsf and mcd. The a, b, c denotions after the mbsf depths denote which of the three holes (907 A,B and C) the sample was taken from. File 907-ird-tuned-agescale.txt contains the tuned age scale which was used in the paper.
