The data was collected from cores 37-40 at IODP Site M0077 on the peak ring # of the Chicxulub impact crater. This depth interval corresponds to the earliest Paleocene. For detailed descriptions of these cores please see # Gulick et al. (2017). These data include species-level planktic and foraminifera population data based on counts of at least 300 individuals # per sample from 108 samples at a resolution of 1 to 10 cm. Also included are XRF core scan data collected at 10 and 50 kV energy steps at 1 cm # resolution. These data are described in detail in Lowery et al.
