# Description: The directory /pub/data/paleo/ on the NOAA National Climatic Data Center (NCDC) anonymous FTP server:
# ftp.ncdc.noaa.gov  contains the entire holdings of data files archived and distributed by the Paleoclimatology Branch 
# of NCDC, and by the World Data Center (WDC) for Paleoclimatology, operated by NCDC. 
# Users may access and download these data free of charge, either from the web address:
# ftp://ftp.ncdc.noaa.gov/pub/data/paleo/  or via command-line anonymous FTP from the server  ftp.ncdc.noaa.gov. 
# The data have been contributed by research scientists, and we request that data users cite the original references
