Mast Purpose of Collection: Event - fire Detrend Method: Horizontal trend Walhalla Plateau has a gradual slope that ranges from 2200 m in the most southern points to 2700 m in the northern region. Walhalla Plateau is separated from the rest of North Rim by the Bright Angel fault. Ponderosa pine stands occur at the lower elevational southern points of the Plateau that shifts to a lower mixed-conifer forest at 2500 m. Reference: Wolf, J. and J. N. Mast. 1998.
