They are off-cuts from timbers apparently recovered from Coutts Chemist Building, Whangarei. As provenance is not certain, the Lat Long and elevation refer to their currentl location at the TRL, School of Environment. Raw ring width measurements (0.01 mm). Please note that because of the size of kauri and industrialized production (a) the series represent only part of the growth span of the tree; (b) assemblages may contain a high number of 'same tree' material. For COUT all series are probably from the same tree - so the CRN should probably be treated as a tree mean. Please contact the TRL for further information if required.
