During the Inventory process for Alan Seeger Natural Area on the Rothrock State Forest in Central Pennsylvania, tree ring cores were collected from dominant trees within Inventory grid cells to determine age as required by inventory protocol. Following the initial inventory and collection, additional samples were collected from within the Natural Area boundaries to supplement the original oak series' and improve correlation. No particular growth signal was targeted; data is being submitted to make it available for other research.
