The cores were remeasured in 2009 for earlywood width, latewood width, and total ring width by Jesse Edmondson. The remeasured data were utilized by Stahle et al. 2013 for their Albemarle PHDI reconstruction. The reconstruction, earlywood width, latewood width, and remeasured total ring width data were archived in July 2015. The ITRDB file va021.rwl now contains the remeasured total ring width data, and the original 2002 total ring width measurements file has been renamed va021original.rwl. The chronology files in the ITRDB are based on the original 2002 ringwidth measurements. The new earlywood width and latewood width data added in July 2015 are in files va021e.rwl and va021l.rwl.
