Data Set Description: This is a subset of the Deep Sea Coral Research and Technology Program’s National Database. The data represent records of deep-sea corals and sponges observed from ROV surveys in the Gulf of Alaska during a 2013 research cruise abord the F/V Alaska Provider. Surveys targeted Pacific red tree coral (Primnoa pacifica) habitats in the Guld of Alaska. These surveys were part of NOAA’s Deep Sea Coral Research & Technology Program Alaska Deep-Sea Coral & Sponge Research Initiative (2012-2014).
