Data Set Description: This is a subset of the Deep Sea Coral Research and Technology Program’s National Database. The data represent observations of the ivory coral, Oculina varicosa made by submersible off Southeast FLorida. Data were derived from the Oculina Geographic Information System (OGIS) provides a comprehensive, interactive data source for the Oculina Banks Habitat Area of Particular Concern (OHAPC), a marine protected area off the east coast of Florida in 70 to 120 meters of water depth. Changes to the original dataset may have been made to conform to the National Database Schema and for quality control purposes.
