Data Set Description: This biological occurence dataset was provided by Vicario et al. 2024; Pérez & Zamponi (2004) to NOAA’s Deep-sea Coral Research and Technology Program. Observations were from the vessel(s), OceanXplorer R/V, using the platform(s): NA. Observation dates range from 2020 to 2020. Marine Ecoregions of the World (MEOW) explored include: Northern and Central Red Sea. Localities explored include: N Red Sea, SA; Gulf of Aqaba, SA; N Red Sea; Central Red Sea, SA. Changes to the originally submitted dataset may have been made to conform to the standards of NOAA’s National Database for Deep-sea Corals and Sponges. Please reach out to: Silvia Vicario (silvia.vicario@kaust.edu.sa); Pérez, Carlos D. (cdperez@ufpe.br) or NA for specific questions about this dataset.
