The Ocean Archive System searches our original datasets as they were submitted to us, not individual points or profiles. If you want to search and retrieve ocean profiles in a common format, or objectively analyzed fields, your better option may be to use one of our project applications. See: Access Data

Title: NITRATE + NITRITE CONTENT (CONCENTRATION), eukaryote, BACTERIA - BACTERIAL DENSITY, SILICATE and other profile and discrete sample data collected in the North Pacific Ocean on the ATLANTIS, NEW HORIZON and WECOMA cruises AT7-21, NH0307A and others as part of the NEP project from 2001-03-20 to 2003-10-01 (NCEI Accession 0113949)
Abstract: This dataset includes profile, discrete sample, biological, physical and chemical data collected aboard the ATLANTIS, NEW HORIZON and WECOMA during cruises AT7-21, NH0307A, W0103B, W0107A, W0109A, W0111B, W0202A, W0204A, W0207A, W0212A, W0302A, W0304A and W0309B in the North Pacific Ocean from 2001-03-20 to 2003-10-01. These data include NITRATE + NITRITE CONTENT (CONCENTRATION), eukaryote, BACTERIA - BACTERIAL DENSITY, SILICATE, WATER TEMPERATURE, SALINITY, CHLOROPHYLL A, PHOSPHATE and Synechococcus. The instruments used to collect these data include bottle. These data were collected by Barry Sherr of Oregon State University as part of NEP. The Biological and Chemical Oceanography Data Management Office (BCO-DMO) submitted these data to NODC on 2013-10-01.

The following is the text of the abstract provided by BCO-DMO:

Description: Also see corresponding CTD data files (http://globec.whoi.edu/jg/serv/globec/nep/ccs/ltop/nepctd.html0%7Bdir=globec.whoi.edu/jg/dir/globec/nep/ccs/ltop/,info=globec.whoi.edu/jg/info/globec/nep/ccs/ltop/nepctd%7D). Data is from Niskin bottle sampling on cruises in 2001, 2002, and 2003. Data are final. Data are organised by year, cruise, transect, station. Station numbers are included for reference to other cruise data.
