This page lists scheduled and reported service outages, as well as changes to products and pages on the site. Each alert includes a short description of the problem, the date and time it has started or will start, and end date, and a description of the type of outage and affected systems.
We know our services are important, and strive to resolve any issues or outages as quickly as possible. This list will be updated as soon as a resolution is reached.

| EHIS Metadata Errors | Please Note: Since the start of the GOES-16 mission, the units for the GOES 16-19 EHIS energy bounds variables have been incorrect in the L1b files. The units for EHIS energy bounds should be MeV per nucleon (MeV nuc-1), not MeV. Six variables are affected: H5MinuteDifferentialEnergyBounds, He5MinuteDifferentialEnergyBounds, CNO5MinuteDifferentialEnergyBounds, NeS5MinuteDifferentialEnergyBounds, ClNi5MinuteDifferentialEnergyBounds, and BeCu5MinuteDifferentialEnergyBounds. A fix is underway for future files. |

| SWFO | The GOES-19 satellite (hosting CCOR-1) launched on June 25th, 2024, and the CCOR-1 data are now available. The SWFO-L1 satellite (hosting SWiPS, STIS, MAG, and CCOR-2) was launched on September 24th, 2025, and the data products should be available by April 2026. |
