The Ocean Archive System searches our original datasets as they were submitted to us, not individual points or profiles. If you want to search and retrieve ocean profiles in a common format, or objectively analyzed fields, your better option may be to use one of our project applications. See: Access Data

Title: Current measurements, in situ, meteorological, optical, physical, and profile data collected by Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution at OceanSITES site NTAS from 2001-03-30 to 2022-10-16 (NCEI Accession 0131154)
Abstract: Current measurements, in situ, meteorological, optical, physical, and profile oceanographic data were collected, including AIR TEMPERATURE, BAROMETRIC PRESSURE, CONDUCTIVITY, CURRENT DIRECTION, CURRENT SPEED, CURRENT SPEED - EAST/WEST COMPONENT (U), CURRENT SPEED - NORTH/SOUTH COMPONENT (V), CURRENT SPEED - UP/DOWN COMPONENT (W), DEPTH - OBSERVATION, FLUX - HEAT, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, INCOMING SOLAR RADIATION, LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, LONGWAVE IRRADIANCE - NET, PRECIPITATION AMOUNT, PRECIPITATION RATE, RELATIVE HUMIDITY, SALINITY, SEA SURFACE TEMPERATURE, SHORTWAVE IRRADIANCE - NET, SOUND VELOCITY, WATER TEMPERATURE, WIND DIRECTION, WIND SPEED, and wind stress from moored buoys at the Northwest Tropical Atlantic Station (NTAS) using ADCP, C-T recorder, CTD - moored CTD, anemometer, barometer, current meter, humidity sensor, meteorological sensors, pressure sensor, pyranometer, radiometer, rain gauge, temperature probe, and thermistor from 2001-03-30 to 2022-10-16. These data were provided to one of the OceanSITES Data Assembly Centers (DAC). The DAC formatted this information into the OceanSITES file format and passed it on to the Global Data Assembly Centers (GDAC). This dataset includes all of the data that has been provided to NCEI for this site.

OceanSITES is a worldwide system of long-term, open-ocean reference stations measuring dozens of variables and monitoring the full depth of the ocean from air-sea interactions down to the seafloor. It is a network of stations or observatories measuring many aspects of the ocean's surface and water column using, where possible, automated systems with advanced sensors and telecommunications systems, yielding high time resolution, often in real-time, while building a long record.
