Title: Biological, chemical and other data collected aboard the ATLANTIS during cruise AT26-15 in the Gulf of Mexico from 2014-05-21 to 2014-06-14 (NCEI Accession 0162348)
Abstract: This dataset includes biological, chemical and other data collected aboard the ATLANTIS during cruise AT26-15 in the Gulf of Mexico from 2014-05-21 to 2014-06-14. These data include CONDUCTIVITY, CURRENT SPEED - EAST/WEST COMPONENT (U), CURRENT SPEED - NORTH/SOUTH COMPONENT (V), DEPTH - BOTTOM, DEPTH - OBSERVATION, DISSOLVED OXYGEN, FLUORESCENCE, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, SALINITY, WATER TEMPERATURE, course over ground, irradiance, speed over ground and surface irradiance. The instruments used to collect these data include ADCP, CTD, GPS, PAR Sensor, echo sounder, fluorometer and oxygen meter. These data were collected by Cindy Van Dover of The College of William and Mary, and by Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution as part of Connectivity in Western Atlantic Seep Populations (SeepC). The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program.

A suite of navigation products produced by the Rolling Deck to Repository program is included in this accession, which include one high resolution, one 1 minute resolution, and one low resolution coordinate file. R2R provides a processed version of the CTD data. The ADCP data represent the raw data set. Post processed quality assessed data are not available in this accession.

Supplementary information: NCEI Accession 0086548 contains documentation about data sets submitted to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository program.

One or more of the data packages in this dataset contain an incorrect data license. The R2R team has requested that all such packages must be documented with a Creative Commons CC0 1.0 Universal (CC0 1.0) Public Domain Dedication. The documentation has been updated accordingly. However, none of the original data files have been changed.

In this accession, NCEI has archived multiple versions of these data. The latest (and best) version of these data has the largest version number.
